The Church „St. George“
The Church „St. George“ was built in 1837. Visitors can see early printed church books that were brought from Russia.
Historical Museum – Oryahovo
The museum was built in 1939. It has three exhibition halls which reverberates the development and heritage of Oryahovo and its surroundings. The three halls are: Hall „Archaeology“, Hall „Renaissance“ and a hall with icons from the church „St. George“.
Park „Hunting Lodge“
It’s a wonderful place for recreation and walks, located in the western part of the city. In the park, visitors can enjoy the beautiful views of the Danube and the Romanian village Beckett.
Bulgarian fortress “Kamaka” (also called “Kaleto)
One kilometer east of Oryahovo is located the fortress “Kamaka”. It was built in the ninth century and lasted until the fourteenth century. This fortress was the way of the troops in two crusades Here the troops pass two crusades, led by Hungarian King Sigismund (1396) and Wladyslaw Jagiello (1444). Today, the fortress has remained rectangular two-storey tower of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. The beautiful panoramic view of the Danube revealing from the locality “Kamaka” fascinates the visitors. Located 44 kilometers (east) of the town Oryahovo and 3 kilometers from the outfall of the Iskar River is Constantine’s Bridge, built in 323 years (B.C.). The Bridge was discovered by Emperor Constantine the Great, which was built of stone, brick and wood and a length of 1150 meters. In 376 years, the bridge was burned.
